The main responsibilities of the role are: To deal with all technical issues and ensure a welding engineering service is delivered and maintained with operations and field support. Develop, review and approve fabrication, welding and inspection specifications in line with corporate standards. Evaluate requirements and where applicable provide necessary welding procedural information. Periodically carry out audits on welding being conducted in line with control procedures. Review and approve sub-contractors welding, post weld heat treatment and non-destructive examination procedures where necessary.
